i swear its goddamn boring to do duty on Saturdays. so its important to keep yourself entertained throughout the day. the entertainment that i've found today? its watching Buffetlicious on xinmsn.com. the buffet selections looks sooo gastronomic and i'm drooling watching the 2 pretty hosts savour their food. when the episode is over, i stare at the packet of cha-chai-fan from the cookhouse. damn, why must the standards differ so much!

what should i blog about todayy....

since i'm free now, i shall talk about my work environment. since none of my colleagues even know that i've a blog (i assume), i can well afford to be a little derisive.

my workplace - broken into many offices, lets just name them Office A, B, C, D, E, F. so in this way, i'm not breaching any security rules. if you hate to read a load of crap, i suggest you close this window now (:

Office A. This office contains the biggest and smallest people, literally. Mostly made up of AC boys. And a dumping ground for those who chao keng so badly and yet are successful in getting a downgrade. They mustve paid the profit-orientated doctors a hefty sum (remember i just mentioned they were from AC (: ) to get this done. Fyi, some of them can complete a 2.4 run within 9-min plus and i dare you challenge them. Because there're just so many of them, there probably isnt any job left for them to do! One enters the office and expects to see a huge congregation of them reading newspaper, and discussing seemingly intellectual topics like - i remember how to do integration and differentiation, do you? Yeah i know, they probably dont act/sound like typical AC guys.

Office B. We used to share the office with time but were unfortunately coerced to separate last year. They ended up on the losing end, getting a new office not bigger than 2 containers combined while we get to remain in the current SPACIOUS office. Mind you, not those classroom containers, but those small ones that are used to store goods in Keppel Bay. Ever since we separated, i never really talked to them. It was a lot more fun when we were together, like doing birthday rapes and locking the guy in a box while he struggles and screams for help and no one actually cares but just stands around and laugh at the poor fellow. Those were the good old days. But recently, they have an influx of clerks from i-dunno-where, so i alienate them altogether.

Office C, my office! Not to be cocky, but i would like to call the office the Elite Branch, heh. We have people from all top JCs in Singapore and my boss holds a master degree. We started out as the office which has the most complicated office-politics issues, so i always had to put on my shield when i work so that i can dodge arrows flying in my direction and protect myself from backstabs. You see, this happens when you put all the smart people together. But as time goes by, everyone knew each other better and we now live happily ever after. People claim that we enjoy the most welfare, but hello, we slogged our lungs out when you only worked your peabrain out.

Office D. Oh dear, they have so many people i dont even know their exact strength. Basically, if one doesnt belong to anywhere, he'd be thrown into this office. So i name it the Rojak Branch - a smorgasbord of race, religion, education background, personality and the list goes on. Unfortunately my best friend comes from this office, but he's exclusive la. They're capable of wrecking havoc in the building and i'm sure there are many stories to tell. The most important job they do? They have veto power in the distribution of stationery. So if you have no friends in there, sorry no printing paper for you if you've run out of any. Use toilet paper, albeit soft. But i never had to worry about not having enough paper for printing xD

Office E. They share such a close relationship with one another i heard they meet up on Saturdays AND Sundays. Goodness haven't you seen enough of each other on weekdays?! Like sleeping, eating, showering and working with someone isnt enough for you to get sick of him. Well...you get my point. But i like them the most, our office is cloest to them. They're friendly, approachable and cohesive. Did i mention that they're very close to one another? And by the way their ex-head loves to go Teo Heng too!

Let me see...have i forgotten anyone? Yes the F group! Hmm i dont interact with them at all since their workplace is approximately 2 frigging bus stops away from mine.

Okay, i think i just finished my longest post ever. Now you know more about my work environment! :D
1 hour of duty gone! Hehe.

Ciao!
